The download went well and I switched accounts to play on my main account. Then afterwards I downloaded the game to a new Origin account created the same day. I deleted all origin files (even those hidden in caches ) I had exactly the same problem when trying to download Apex Legends. Also not sure why this post is being downvoted. Tried to tell me to enable "Safe Mode Downloads" even though their own support page says this feature is enabled on all Origin downloads now and is no longer an option in the application settings.

Originally was updating the game, so I uninstalled completely it to do a clean install and now I can no longer download the game at all (same error both ways). Whenever I try to download Apex, I get an error that says:Īn unexpected error has occurred. I can download & update all my other Origin games with no issues.
I have been trying to update/download the game for two hours, trying everything I could find online to resolve this issue.
